Is White Chocolate Actually Real Chocolate?

Now, white chocolate is often something that sparks divided opinions. Some people believe that it has nothing to do with chocolate, while others say the opposite. Technically, you can say that white chocolate is not actually chocolate at all. The reason for this is that white chocolate is made with only cocoa butter, powdered or condensed milk, and sugar. Thus, white chocolate contains none of the cocoa solids that give dark and milk chocolates their flavor and color.

White chocolate is a product in its own right, then. It is characterized by a very sweet and creamy texture, which it gets from the cocoa butter. The white chocolate from Läderach is characterized by its ivory color and delicate aromas of milk, cream, and vanilla. The high proportion of top-quality Swiss milk and creamy cocoa butter harmonize together to create a subtle sweetness.

White chocolate is the queen of decadent chocolate. The complex richness makes it indulgently sweet. Real white chocolate has a buttery flavor with hints of vanilla and caramel. The smooth texture will melt in your mouth and delight your senses.

When we create our white chocolate, we connect the rainforests with the Swiss Alps by combining the rich cocoa butter with the Swiss milk.

Our white chocolate contains no extra fillers such as vegetable oil. We believe that in order to obtain the true taste and feel of white chocolate, you have to use only the best ingredients. Among other things white chocolate is made with milk, sugar etc.
